Jim Gleeson and team: 2021 End of Year TB on Waiheke Island

In November/December 2021, it was a case of the usual mad rush to finish projects so that clients could enjoy their renovations over the summer period.
This invariably means Jim Gleeson and his team are working all the hours available to deliver their projects, during a generally frenetic and manic time of year. Add covid conditions with its inherent difficulties, and it’s a demanding and exhausting time for all.
So, carving out time during all this to celebrate another year was always going to be difficult and a challenge. For these reasons, Jim and Del decided to postpone the end of 2021 function for their staff.
In early February 2022, Jim and Del Gleeson took their team on a well-deserved break to spend quality time together on Waiheke Island.
Catching a ferry to Matiatia, Waiheke Island at 9am was an early start to beat the weekend crowds.  With an hour to kill, they stopped at a local café for a quick breakfast to shore up appetites, before they took a short ride to Wild on Waiheke.  
At this point, all friendships were suspended while co-workers competed against each other in laser clay shooting and then archery. Judging from the results, it would seem some of the team have a natural talent for the sports, whereas others will need a bit more practice before the next event.
Following a wonderful lunch and wine tour at some of the vineyards, the team were able to relax and take in some of the sights and sounds of Waiheke Island before heading home.  Everyone agreed, it was a relaxed and fun event.
