As the Refresh People's Choice Awards draw to a close, we have one last category to recognise: Renovation of the Year 2022. This project has beaten out some fierce competition but ultimately shined the brightest this year.
A big congratulations are in order for Renovation Consultants Michelle and Jason Zielinski! Their original first-place win came in the Whole House Renovation category only to be followed up with their second win for Refresh’s Renovation of the Year 2022. On behalf of a family of five, the Perth duo transformed a tired City Beach property into a fantastic family home.
Design highlights include two tranquil and stylish bathrooms featuring bespoke tile splashback and floating vanities; a high-end custom kitchen with architectural feature lighting and multiple seating arrangements; and an incredibly chic laundry area that may actually make the task enviable. Natural light plays a large part in the success of this renovation, with a beautifully placed window and skylight.
