How much will my project cost?

That depends on your requirements. Because all of our designs are bespoke, costs depend on your individual needs and style. We will, however, design with your budget in mind and advise you on ways which will help you to stay within your budget. The best way to get an idea of your project costs is to speak with a renovation consultant. However, as a rough guide, our bathroom renovations tend to fall within three categories:
Basic ($20,000+): Keeps within the bathroom's original layout but allows you to update the appearance and quality of your bathroom.
Mid-range ($50,000+): Allows you to adjust your bathroom layout and give it a complete makeover.
High-end ($75,000+): Within this price range, you can achieve a bathroom addition or a complete renovation with a luxury finish.

Will Refresh take care of any council applications?

If your bathroom renovation includes construction work, structural changes or demolition, you will need a building permit. Your Refresh Renovations specialist will advise you on whether or not your project requires development or building approval during the design stage and will take care of the application process for you.  

What are some important considerations when planning a bathroom renovation?

There are many things to consider, with measurements being high on the list. If these are not accurate, the final result can be completely out of line with what you originally imagined - so it’s important to work with someone who is experienced in planning and designing a bathroom. You also need to think about who will be using the space - is it just you or will one bathroom be catering to a family of four or more?
